A WEST Devon-based performing arts education company is celebrating success after entering students in examinations in drama and music theatre and singing.

All Out Performing Arts entered a large number of students in drama and music theatre graded exams with LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) and singing graded exams with the London College of Music. Results with both examination boards were again outstanding with many students receiving distinctions.

Julian Barnicoat, who runs All Out Performing Arts with Suzanne Sanders, said: 'We are delighted. We set high standards and our students rise to the challenge time and time again.'

More students will be taking exams this autumn while the company also gears up for its Christmas show.

On Sunday, November 24, members of All Out Performing Arts will be staging 'The Snow Queen' in Tavistock Town Hall.

The classic tale written in 1945 by Hans Christian Anderson will include acting, singing and dance. Rehearsals are about to start on Friday evenings when All Out junior, intermediate and senior groups meet after school in Kingdon House, Tavistock.
