KELLY House, near Lifton, is opening its doors to the public this weekend in support of a south west charity.
On Saturday and Sunday (October 15 and 16), Kelly House will play host to the first Woolly Weekend, an opportunity for the public to stock up on wool products for the coming winter, meet producers of fine wool and other natural products and support Children's Hospice South West.
The Kelly family, who have lived on the same site for more than 900 years, is happy to support the cause, and is offering visitors the chance to not only buy their winter warmers but also see much of the house for £3 each, at least half of which will go to the charity.
Displays will include a full-size knitted Welsh dresser from All 2 Knit, Alpaca wool jumpers from Sampford Manor Alpacas, and bags, scarves and jewellery from Felt Amazing, among many others.
The event runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
