A CURRY night was held recently to raise funds for the Winsford Trust. Entertainment was provided by Linda Hull's Belly Laughs troupe, who gave lessons to those brave enough to take to the floor at the end of the evening.

Three delicious curries had been provided by volunteers with all the accompaniments, some of which had been kindly supplied by Waitrose of Holsworthy.

Although attendance was lower than expected it was an evening to remember for those at the event.

The next fundraiser will be Halwill Open Gardens on Sunday July 11 — put the date in your diary, further details to follow. There are several different gardens from last year, ranging from large gardens with trees and lakes to one that the owner says you can view from the back gate.
