MY warmest congratulations to Bob Cridland, the town hall manager, and to Eddie Carruthers, the Market Reeve and his deputy Mike Souttar for the wonderful Double Antique Fair in the town hall and the pannier market.
I have never seen Tavistock as busy on a Sunday and rarely on a weekday.
Both town hall and pannier market were packed all day. Michael Newman who so kindly came to do valuations hardly had time to eat his ?lunch?.
It was a marvellous day for Tavistock. Let us hope it will be repeated.
