Tavistock 2nd 9 Plymouth Uni 2nd 2 THE match opened with a Plymouth Uni push back, which Tavistock Ladies Hockey team intercepted well to gain possession and work up towards the goal. Robynne Honey got a break straight up the wing to drive the ball forward and with an amazing strike for top ?D? scored the first goal in the 6th minute. Tavistock dominated the game with outstanding skill and teamwork, to force the ball forward to allow Julia Firth to score another goal in the 13 minute. Plymouth Uni battled back to score their two goals before half time. In the second half Tavistock, determined to win, kept their heads high and with continuing pressure saw goal after goal scored to bring the final score to 2-9. Player of the match: Robynne Honey.
