MEMBERS of the Calstock Footpath Society are inviting people to join them this Sunday, March 25, to enjoy a 'Daffodil Walk in the Tamar Valley'. The four mile walk, led by Stephen Docksey, will include paths through the Danescombe Valley, where walkers will hope to find daffodils in the woods, before visiting Cotehele to see its displays. Those wishing to take part should meet at Calstock railway station at noon. The event is free but organisers ask participants for a donation to the National Trust (NT members advised to take their cards with them). Please bring a packed lunch and strong shoes or boots.
