ENTRIES are invited for a Classic, Vintage and Veteran Car Tour which is taking place in October in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
The tour takes place on Sunday, October 17 and starts at Haven Banks in Exeter. Cars will then drive to Okehampton, through Sourton, Lydford, Mary Tavy, Tavistock, Milton Abbot, Launceston, Lifton and will finish at Jethro?s at Lewdown ? where the restaurant will be open from 3.30pm.
The cars, which it is hoped will include pre- and post-war vehicles, will travel 63 miles in total.
Those wishing to take part need to complete a registration form and send a cheque for £10 for a registration fee. While organisers would be grateful if sponsorship could be raised for the charity, this is not a condition of entry.
Volunteers are needed to help marshall the event.
It is anticipated the cars will take several hours to pass through each village or town en route, as this is a tour, not a parade.
