POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a home in Tamar Avenue, Greenlands in Tavistock in the morning of Friday, January 17. The offenders forced entry into the home and stole a safe which contained a number of valuable items. A Tavistock police spokesperson said: ‘Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time who saw anything or anyone suspicious to come forward.
‘Police want to hear from anyone who has CCTV in the surrounding area of Tamar Avenue because of potential offenders may well have been captured on their footage.’

• A red quad bike was stolen from a shed next to the Braunder Farm house in Bere Alston between noon and 6pm on Tuesday, January 14.
A police spokesperson said: ‘It was potentially removed by another vehicle.’ Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting crime ref CR/004127/20.
• Police are appealing for witnesses to a theft in Tavistock on Monday, January 6 at around 8pm. An electric bike was stolen from the front doors of Tesco.
A police spokesperson said: ‘We are trying to identify the male from the CCTV image (pictured) who may be able to assist us in our enquiries. Should you have any information please contact 101 quoting crime number CR/1844/20 Exhibit ILB/2.’
• A parking sign was damaged at an address in Oaklands Drive, Okehampton on Friday, January 3 at around 5.40pm. Police in Okehampton would like to hear from anyone who has information about the incident, CR/002563/20.
