Police are asking for help in identifying a man they would like to speak to following an alleged assault in Bere Alston on Saturday.

Officers received a report of an assault on a 68-year-old male on Saturday, March 11, at around 2.30pm at an address in Tuckermarsh, Bere Alston.

The male was working in his garden when three males on scrambler motorbikes came down a local bridleway. An altercation occurred, the victim took a photo of the three males and subsequently the victim was put in a choke hold by one of the males.

Officers would like to identify and speak to the male in the photo. If you recognise this man, contact police on 101, and quote crime reference number CR/018097/17.
