POLICE are appealing for information after burglars committed three serious break-ins in Tavistock on Monday night.

Two properties at Down Road and another in Deer Park Crescent were broken into and jewellery and money was taken. The criminals broke into the properties by smashing conservatory doors or windows. The crimes took place on Monday evening up to 8.15pm.

Police are appealing for any information residents in the area may have. They are especially keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any unusual vehicles in the area throughout the day or anyone who has CCTV footage.

Police are also keen to speak to a man, probably in his 40s, seen standing outside one of the properties that was burgled, with his dog.
