FIREFIGHTERS were called to a property in Church Lane, Calstock, on Thursday evening (January 14) where a carbon monoxide alarm was sounding and the occupants had reported feeling unwell.
On arrival of the two crews from Callington, the property had been fully ventilated, then was resealed by the crews. Firefighters re-entered the building with a gas monitor where a positive reading for carbon monoxide was taken.
Crews identified the cause of the gas leak and gave advice to the occupants. The occupants then attended hospital as a precaution on the advice of ambulance personnel.
