Police were called after this car apparently slid on black ice first thing this morning, Friday, January 2 in Tavistock.

The incident happened in Canal Road, close to the junction with Plymouth Road beside Tavistock Library.

The car slid into railings.

Temperatures are forecast to dip below freezing again tonight, overnight Friday into Saturday in the Tavistock area.
