AN initiative to help any parents concerned about their children has been set up by Tavistock Police.

Starting next Thursday (September 20) the drop-in sessions will be held at The Queen’s Head (J D Wetherspoon) in Tavistock from 9.30am to 11am.

Any parents concerned about their children with issues ranging from drugs, sexual exploitation, alcohol, online usage, or anything else that concerns their children can go and speak with Tavistock PCSO Kevin Williams.

PCSO Williams has organised the drop-ins for parents. He said: ‘The drop-ins will be held fortnightly and are for parents concerned about their kids but don’t know where to go.’

PCSO Williams will be on hand to help answer any questions and guide them on how to help their children with their concerns.
