A TAVISTOCK lad has walked over 500 miles and raised more than £1,100 for Tavistock Specials Football Club.
Paul Lewis, who is autistic, along with his father Allen, started walking around the local area at the start of lockdown in order to provide a routine and raise money for the charity along the way.
When lockdown started, Paul’s routine came to an end and his enablers weren’t allowed to help or take him out — and so Allen and Paul began to walk for his well-being.
Allen said: ‘I can’t tell you how supportive everyone has been in Tavistock — and the car horns and waves have been brilliant!’
