TAVISTOCK U13s won the toss against Plympton in this top of the table clash with both teams boasting unbeaten records.

After an early loss, Chris Poyntz, 48 not out, Ben Milligan, 29, and good contributions from Theo Cousins and Callum Worth, allied with some wide bowling from Plympton contributed to Tavistock setting a challenging 140 to win in 14 overs.

The pressure of runs on the board soon told, and aggressive and fast bowling gave Plympton no chance.

Callum Worth ripped out the top order with 4-9, ably supported by Milligan and Poyntz with a wicket a piece. Tavistock move top of the table following this comprehensive 56 run victory.
