TWO youngsters from North Tawton, Lee Baker and Sammy-Jo Luxton, both competed in the Muay Thai World Series event in Bournemouth.

First up was Lee Baker, who defeated his oponent with a unanimous points decision, and won the National Junior title in his weight division. Baker outclassed with his height advantage and used knees and kicks to score, winning all the rounds. Baker expressed thanks to his sponsor Carmel Coaches for help and support.

Next up was Sammy-Jo Luxton, current Europian Champion in the bantamweight division. She had her second head contact bout against an oponent with a weight and age advantage. This did not phase Sammy-Jo as she has an experienced record of junior bouts, and gave a tough match against her oponent and scored with head kicks to win the match.
