Devon seconds B Braunton seconds v Tavistock seconds TAVISTOCK seconds started the season with a disappointing defeat by Braunton seconds. Batting first, no Tavistock batsman scored more than 26 with John McGahey top scoring. Braunton bowled well to restrict the total to 133. Tavistock thought they were in with a good chance of victory when they reduced Braunton to 57-6, with Sam Willets bowling brilliantly taking five wickets for ten runs. However, despite some good bowling, Barnes and Johnson batted sensibly and took Braunton to victory by four wickets.
