THE popular Tavistock Wheelers Brentor Road race series returns to the Brentor circuit this Easter Sunday, April 16, with a full field of racing cyclists competing for prizes sponsored by Plymouth bike firm, Velo-smith.com.
Peter Foubister, race organiser, said: ‘The use of the British Cycling Accredited marshal system and a full team of race officials helps ensure the race takes place with minimum risk to riders and public and minimum disruption to traffic.
‘Riders in the race include a strong entry from the local Tavistock Wheelers bike club.
‘The headquarters for the race is Chicks Moorland retreat in Brentor, from where riders will leave to do nine laps of the five mile circuit.’
The second race in the series is on Sunday, May 28.
