THE Tavistock Wheelers North Shore Gallery team and the Under 14 boys’ riders enjoyed great success at the recent South West Cyclo Cross awards evening

It followed a long season of 12 races, on all types of terrain and in all kinds of weather. In many of the series races there were over 200 riders across the various age categories

In the U8’s Jamie Young was second and Alex Pearcy third while in the U10s Lara Dix was third. In the U12 boys Ryan Kingdom was third and in the U12 girls Emma Luckham was second and Lara Dix third.

Tavistock Wheelers achieved a clean sweep of medals in the U14 boys with Joe Dix the winner, James Pearcy second and Leo White third. Rosie Andrews won the U16s girls.

In the seniors, Phil Collings was second and Lee Adams third.
