TAVISTOCK Wheelers Cycling Club congratulate former member of the club, Tom Williamson-Cary, on joining the Saint Piran development team for 2020. 

Saint Piran are a Cornish cycling team established in 2016, with the development team introduced to identify and nurture new talent with the potential to step up to the top level. 

Tom is a committed cyclist whose talent on the bike and good humour on rides was well known among club mates during his time with the Tavistock Wheelers.

Dan Worth, the current chairman of Tavistock Wheelers, said: ‘Tom moved on from the club to study human geography at Cardiff University and is now the president of the university road cycling team.  He was a fantastic cyclist and club member whilst at the Wheelers and he certainly deserves this opportunity offered by Saint Piran.

‘The Wheelers Club wish Tom every success for his upcoming races in Saint Piran colours.’
