WEST Devon C 'travelled' to Conservative Z in the Tavistock snooker league and audaciously came away with all the spoils, leaving the home side team reeling.

Conservative Z's Dodd, usually a safe pair of hands, was not able to overcome Decieco as the latter weathered a late spell of snookers from Dodd to pinch the frame in a black ball finish. Next downed by West Devon was the prized scalp of Fitzsimmons who was finding trouble keeping the white on the table, but ultimately it was the calm head of Elliott who took the black ball to nick it.

Symons responded in style for the Con Zs with a comfortable win over Shrimpton to keep his side in the race. The game was tied up for West Devon with another dominant game from Grigg who kept Conservative Z's McKechnie under the cosh from start to finish to win with ease. Williams tried his best to make it four for West Devon but it was Con Z's Morton who stole the black ball to produce a bit of face saving for the home team.

West Devon, with their second win of the season, now chalked up seem to be going from strength to strength, leaving a couple of teams just above them in the league looking over their shoulders with concern.
