Brixham U14s 5

Tavistock took control of the breakdown and Theo Cousins, Scott Morris, Greg Cottrell and Harry Jeans worked tirelessly to secure their backs clean possession. This gave fly half Ethan Lamerton the time he needed to see a gap in the Brixham defence and break through to score Tavistock's fifth try. The ever-dependable Dan Willis also played well tidying up loose ball from kicks and running it back at the Brixham defence.

In the second half debutant George Murrain showed great handling skill in catching the ball from kick offs. Cameron McKie showed he was back to full fitness racing up the field with the ball in hand. George Hillson scored his second try after he made good use of the blindside from a scrum and ran in from the half way line. Ethan Lamerton added his second before Ben Luke, now back playing for the home side, added a pair of tries. Both involved him bashing his way through defenders from some distance from the line.

The hard working Matt Birch scored the final try from scrum half by sprinting up the touch line to score in the corner. George Hillson added three conversions in the second half.
