HURDWICK Golf Club held the Hurdwick 100, a two day medal event last weekend. Despite the disappointing weather a good weekend was had by all who attended.

The Hurdwick 100 is played over the full 18 hole course, players can enter either day or both. There are winners on Saturday and Sunday and scores are then amalgamated to decide the overall winner.

This years' winners are Saturday: 1, Fred Benetton, 2, Paul Gunn and Sunday: 1, Harry Bee, 2, Allan Hill. The overall winner was acting captain Harry Bee.

n Hurdwick's next event is a charity event the Peter Brookbank Memorial Cup in aid of St Luke's Hospice, a Stableford competition which will be held on Saturday. All are welcome.
