TAVISTOCK made use of the dry conditions and cut loose straight from the kick off. After recycling the ball neat handling saw the ball passed to flying winger Bernie Sadler who scored in the left hand corner. This was shortly followed by a powerful drive from Ben Luke to score Tavi's second. Ben Milligan and Billy McNicol added another two tries both scored wide out following flowing backs moves.
The tries kept coming with George Hillson, Chris Watts and Dan Willis looking to release Tavistock's pacey outside backs at every opportunity. Ethan Lamerton gave an assured performance at outside centre linking well with his wingers and fullback while still managing to weigh in with five tries of his own. Ben Milligan was not going to be out done and also managed to chalk up five.
Billy McNicol picked up a second score in the latter stages of the game with James Lewis scorching in to add to the tally.
The try of the match though belonged to the hard working forward Steve Kirby. He had already returned a kick off by running and side stepping 40 metres up the pitch before cleverly off loading the ball to players outside him. His moment of glory came later, however, when he popped up in midfield and cut back inside to score under the posts.
The tenacious George Hillson rounded off proceedings with a score following another slick piece of handling and he kept the score ticking over with 6 conversions.
