TWO members of Tavistock Triathlon Club competed in the Bideford Half Marathon. It was a cold and windy day along the picturesque Tarka Trail, which meant that running times were a little slower this year.

Liz Vernon came home in 1hr 59mins, 49th in her age group, and a personal best and Nicky Deane-Simmons (both pictured above) 2hrs 10mins, 23rd in her age group. The club is holding two, 18+ years, 'triathlon taster' sessions on Saturdays April 21st and May 5 from 1pm to 4pm at Tavistock College. Anyone interested in trying out fully coached, fun and informative sessions in swim, bike and run should contact Clare Short.
