TAVISTOCK CFC U15s attended Cullompton Rangers annual 6-a-side on  Saturday and came away as champions.

With 21 teams attending and after a long hot day and playing nine games, the Tavistock side scored 19 goals and only conceding two on their way to the final.

In the final they came up against Pinhoe Spartans. The game was end to end, with both teams having chances to win it.

After 10 minutes of normal time and five minutes of extra time the game was goalless.

The game was decided by penalties; all of the Tavistock players including the keeper took penalties and kept their cool heads after netting all of their penalties ending up winning 7-6 when Pinhoe hit the post with their seventh.
