Tavistock v Tiffin Tits

TAVISTOCK'S annual match against Tiffin Tits took place in nice weather on Sunday.

Tavistock batted first but stuttered along and never really looked like producing a competitive score.

Jay Stevens batted well for 35 and Ben Russell's 33 not out were only half decent scores and a total of 147 was a bit disappointing. The wickets were shared around by the opposition.

Tavistock made early breakthroughs but a low total was always going to be difficult to defend.

Wickets were shared around, but the target was achieved with the minimum of fuss.

Burrows top scored for the opposition of 45 not out.
