OKEHAMPTON Hockey Club ladies second team have been competing in the Honiton and district seven-a-side summer league.
They have fielded a squad comprising of youth and experience under the leadership of Nicki Stoneman and Viv Weatherington.
The Okehampton ladies began their campaign with a draw against Honiton. In their next game they were beaten by a strong Newton Abbot team and followed this with a narrow defeat against Chard.
The Oke team saved their best hockey for their final game against Torbay. Winnie Rademaker scored a hat-trick of goals in open play and then claimed her fourth goal from a well taken penalty flick with Viv Weatherington converting a well placed cross from Liselotte Rademaker into Oke's final goal.
