A COMBINED Tavistock/Newquay team made a convincing start in the first round of the South West girls Rugby Cup. 

The win included tries from Lily Mills (2), Lizzie Cole (1), Ellie Mills (1) and Alice Mills-Hicks (2). 

The fast pace game included great defence, superb support from Lauren Abel and Tilly Cole and the whole team really came together with the Newquay girls.

The semi-finals will see them play North Dorset in the New Year.
