HATHERLEIGH seconds were another club who had their match interrupted by the elements on Saturday.

The home side made an impressive 187-8 with a superb knock of 70 by Terry Reynolds and supported by Tom Rogers on 30.

Jack Hayman came on and hit an entertaining six, two, six and six in four balls to conclude the innings against the visitors from Tiverton.

J Drew had the best bowling figures for Heathcote with 3-24 with L Dixon on 2-58 and S Andrews on 2-48.

Heathcote replied and reached 62-2 with Frankpitt on 37no before rain stopped play. Hatherleigh seconds 11 points, Heathcoat 10pts.
