The workshop was held at Tavistock College and was very well attended with more than 60 martial artists, ranging from beginners to black belt fourth dan, from Plymouth, Torquay, Liskeard and as far away as Swindon.
The guest instructor from Italy was Piero Rovigatti, eighth dan in the art of Goju Ryu Jujitsu.
Umberto Bergonzini, the club instructor and organiser, said: 'Another great event which everybody enjoyed.
'I think this was probably the largest martial arts gathering which has taken place in Tavistock.
'I would like to thank all the participants for making the day such a great success.
'My thanks also go to the college for making their facilities available and helping Tavistock in consolidating its position as a highly professional place to train in the Martial Arts.'
