ABBEY Garden are backing the eighth Son-Rise Cup Football Festival by sponsoring the event equipment and continue support for this Tavistock event!

The annual event, which combines a football festival with raising awareness of autism and promoting sport for those with special needs and learning difficulties, will take place at Tavistock Community Football club on the weekend of May 18 and 19.

Allen Lewis, the events organiser, said: 'The company at Pitts Cleave have been a strong supporter of sport in this area and the good will they have shown is an example of how lucky we are to have a company like this supporting the event.

'Steve, Chris and Nick John are right behind the Son-Rise Cup Committee in helping make 2013 a big success!

'Although the loss of many matches in the Devon area through the long wet spell and the catch up games for the Devon Junior Minor leagues we are pleased to see teams entering again and look forward once again to seeing a smile of footballs face.'
