THERE was disappointment at Oaklands as Okehampton went down to the side just above them.

It started off brightly for the Okes who took the fight to the Plymouth side and dominated the first half. It was to the visitors' credit that they kept the home side out for such a long period but finally Okehampton earned their reward with a penalty try after the visitors drove over.

It was the elements that held the decisive sway as the wind now favoured Devonport Services in the second half, and they soon took advantage.

Two tries by Rhys Williams and another by Charlie Attis and conversions by the same players for Services put an end to the Okes' hopes and brings their losing streak to five.
