TAVISTOCK Squash and Racketball Club held their first monthly club night competition of the year on January 2. This was a racketball team event which included three players who had never played before.

In a close competition, two teams battled it out, with the winning team gaining 183 points to the other team's 175 points.

The winning side was made up of Kate Wright, Sylvia McIntosh, Andy Howell, Tony Bondy, Roger Blandford and Joe Kuipers.

Next month members will be taking part in a quarterly handicapped tournament.
