IT was a successful weekend for Okehampton's junior Thai boxers Team Chaos who went to Crawley in Sussex for a junior Thai kick boxing show.

Jordan Gale, Sammy-Jo Luxton, Will Shaw, and new members Lee Baker. aged 13 and Jack Marsh, 7, all outclassed their opponents with technique and determination as Chaos achieved four wins on the day.  

After defeating Britain's third ranked junior, Sammy Jo went on to fight the next day at the Seni Arena in London. where she lost to Britain's second ranked Alaya Kitchen.

Proud trainer Steve Pender said: 'We are all so proud of Sammy-Jo, never mind the decision, she took the fight after short notice and to fight the following day is an achievement on its own. We look forward to a rematch with Alaya later on this year.'
