TAVISTOCK Community Football Club U11s dominated from the first whistle to the last, scoring nine unanswered goals in a great team performance.

The speed of the Tavistock front line caused the visitors problems from the start, and Matt scored the opener from a move started by Luke on the wing.  Tavistock exerted constant pressure with captain Owen bursting through the SB defence and calmly placing his shot past the sprawling keeper, doubling Tavistock’s lead shortly before half time.

Tavistock made the perfect start to the second half as Sam B finished a well worked passing move.  Almost immediately Matt B added a fourth. Tavistock were now completely dominant.

Fynn H and Will dealt easily with any attacking threats whilst  their defensive colleague Finn C  was making ever more adventurous forays upfield.  

Meanwhile wingers Luke and Sam  were stretching the SB defence and looked threatening whenever they got the ball.   

A superb long range effort opened Joe’s account, he swiftly added a second, before waltzing past four SB players to complete his hat-trick. Matt B completed one hat-trick and Ben another. Joe made way for Brandon whose physical presence added a whole new dimension to Tavistock’s game. Goalkeeper Charlie made his only save of the match shortly before the final whistle.
