NORTH Tawton Community Primary Football enjoyed an unbeaten run in the West Devon Football Finals competition which took place at Tavistock College.

Seven team finalists took part in this competition, having successfuly completed the early stages of the North Tawton Football Tournament and the local Tavistock area competition.

North Tawton's results beat St Peters 1-0; drew with South Tawton 0-0; beat Horrabridge 1-0; drew with Okehampton 0-0; beat Chagford 1-0  and Lifton 2-0.

Headmaster  Nick D'Agorne said of his NT team: 'I was really pleased with not only the teamwork which was used to obvious positive effect by the children in our team, but also the overall attitude which was one of true sportsmanship.'
