TAVY Runners have continued to operate through the winter on Wednesday evenings and planned the run on Sunday at Whitsand Bay and Rame Head to coincide with an extremely low tide giving a large area of sand to run on.

Unfortunately this coincided with one of the worst afternoon's weather this winter when a double warm weather front was closely followed by a double cold front sweeping across the run area. Consequently the numbers were reduced to a very hard core who were seen sheltering in the chapel at Rame Head (pictured above) and later warming up in the Cliff Top cafe.
