THE turn out for the traditional fun Boxing Day match at Tavistock Rugby Club consisted of members past, present and future.

The annual fixture between two teams picked on the day was this year the 'battle' of Locals versus Legends — captains were Will Tomkins and Doug Lloyd.

Both squads squeezed themselves into what looked on most to be shrunken kit and made their way in the wind and rain out to the back pitch at Sandy Park.

A small but hardy string of supporters and family followed.

The conditions played a large part in the game with hang-overs and 'noro virus' also contributing.

There were scores, as the bedraggled spectators remember, which were touched down or kicked mostly downhill, but no one was particularly counting!

Following the match a good time was had by all as the action moved to the drier surroundings of the club house.
