THREE swimmers from Tavistock Swimming Club reached the 100m Championship finals at the City of Plymouth Gala held at the Life Centre in Plymouth.

Kieran Rookes reached the 100m Breaststroke final in a personal best time and in the final produced an even quicker time to earn himself another personal best time and second place.

Boys joint club captain, Matt Edwards reached three championship finals – 100m butterfly, 100m IM and the 100m freestyle.

Matt finished third in the butterfly final with a personal best time, fifth in the IM final and a superb second place with a personal best time, in the closely fought freestyle final.

Nathaniel Rookes, the other joint boys club captain, also made the 100m IM Championship final with a personal best time and finished seventh.
