THIS last season saw Tavistock winning the Bere Alston and district Short Mat Bowling league.

This league has been set up to involve local teams including some from Plymouth. Pictured above are some of the players who this year took part.

The cup was given and presented by Merv Myers at Bere Alston's new club house.

Tavistock short mat bowling club meets on a Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7-9pm and new members are always welcome.
