Exeter Saracens U18s girls 27 Tavistock/Newquay U18s girls 10 THIS was is the last regular match of the season, and it was a highlight for the club to be in the final of the South West Cup. Tavistock/Newquay were however beaten in an exciting match by Exeter, who did not dominate the match as they had expected, and Tavistock/Newquay held them at bay for most of the match. Two tries from Tavistock/Newquay kept the game on edge, but Exeter ran out winners in the end. The Tavistock season has been improving as the newer members of the team contribute more and as Tavistock and Newquay (who train separately), get better coordination with each match. This has been a highly successful season for the Tavistock U18s girls. During the season, Tavistock have won eight matches and lost two, won the Devonport festival and now the Shield in the South West Cup. Next week the team go on tour to Bournemouth to play Oakmedians.
