TAVISTOCK Hockey Club ladies started the season flying with three consecutive wins.
The first match was a tough draw against Plymouth University, despite the fierce play and pace of the game the Tavistock girls held their own and came away with a confident 4-1.
Tavistock ladies met Penzance seconds at home and dominated the match for an 8-0 win.
On Saturday, the ladies travelled to Falmouth to play their second team, After a slow start the goals finally started to flow. New player Abi Hall is the current top goal scorer. The team worked well together, moving the ball around the pitch and feeding the attackers plenty of good balls that were converted to goals. The final score was 7-2 to Tavistock. Tavistock Ladies firsts are now firmly at the top of Trelawney division one.
