TAVISTOCK Golf Club has started the season well.  The ladies had an excellent home win in the first round of the Mail on Sunday competition when they had 5-0 victory over Yelverton. The next round is home to Launceston

Mike Wakeley and Glyn Cunnick won the qualifying round of the Daily Mail Foursomes and will represent the club at Wrangaton in the next round.

In division three Garry White had 31pts, second Keith Stenhouse with 28 and all with 27 were Bernard Green, Tommy Rawlinson and Roger Ward.
