THE Tamar Valley Pool League held their annual presentation evening on Saturday at the Victoria Social Club in Bere Alston.

The evening began with a respectful minute of applause to remember former players Mark Williams, Del Sawyer and Howard Moule who had sadly died during the past 12 months.

Proceedings were compered by Richard Eales, who oversaw the presentation of trophies for in excess of 20 categories for individuals and teams, culminating with division one winners Victoria Social Club and then premier division winners, Tavy Club B.

The league is now looking forward to their new season of Blackball pool which starts on October 23 and will be played on Monday evenings in several local venues.
