TAMAR and Tavy Gig Club’s Tom Murrin recently won first place in the Plymouth Schools Sports Partnership’s indoor rowing championships for Year 11, and will now progress to the next stage of the contest.

Tom is a keen member of Tamar and Tavy Gig Club’s junior squad, regularly competing in regattas throughout the South West and has also represented Devon at county U14 level.

He follows in the footsteps of other T and T juniors who have learned to row on the River Tamar and then gone on to represent their universities or county or even compete at national level as adults.
