THE first match of 2018 for Tavistock ladies was held at Lipson and it turned out to be a rather exciting one for the West Devon side.
Tavistock came out full of fighting spirit and held most of the possession early on, with great play from Sophie Russell and Chezzie Moore. Tavistock took the lead in the 32nd minute with a fabulous goal scored by Moore.

Plymouth equalised 10 minutes into the second half but Tavistock immediately retaliated with a great goal from Issy Davies.
Tavistock continued to dominate within the second half with numerous attempts at goal but the scoreline remained.
All the team played well, with player of the match awarded to Chezzie Moore, and this was a good win for Tavistock to start 2018.
