FOURTEEN Kelly Prep Athletes attended the National Schools Biathlon semi finals at Millfield School, with pupils competing in the U10, U11 and U12 categories.

The competitors ran 800m on the track and then headed for the pool for a 50metre swim.

Seven of the pupils (Lottie Trevethan, Toby Bower, Matthew Twyman, Pippi Harris, Isaac Staig, Ben Pitts and Marcus Coleridge) qualified to attend the National Biathlon Championships later this month and we will until January to see how many have also qualified for the National Schools Finals to be held at the Olympic Stadium.

This was a superb performance by all the children from Kelly Prep with many of the children competing on such a large stage for the first time.
