THE annual Tavy 7 and fun in Tavistock took place on Sunday and the beautiful autumnal sunshine added to the occasion.

Runners ran the scenic seven mile course at Plasterdown and there was the option for many who took part in the 1.5 mile fun run.

The event, organised by Tavistock Athletics Club, was a great success.

Race director Keith Bowles and the marshals, registration and results team, timekeepers and the caterers did a great job to make sure everything run smoothly.
