TAVISTOCK Cricket Club ended the season with the annual President's Day. On a fantastic day with wall to wall sunshine the president's team batted first and, to the club's credit, the so called super stars were soon in trouble with 5 wickets down for 58. Matt Skeemar 35 and John Kerridge 54 brought the side to a reasonable total of 151. Bowling honours went to Lee Baker 2/33, James McGahey 3/20 and the Ginger Winger 2/16. Tavistock batted and at 80/5 looked to be in trouble but good knocks of 35 from Tim Pope and 38 from captain Shaun Daymond saw the club edge home by 3 wickets. Bowling honours go to Rob Bennett, John Kerridge and Stuart Munday.
